I've often referred to myself as a vessel maker more than a functional potter. It's a little silly, I know, but I believe it's accurate.

The pots in this area of my website are ones that have the full history of my practice behind them.

They are full of vitality and contain surfaces adorned with grace and a sophisticated, soda-fired depth that continues to melt my mind.

In short... they are the ones that, when pulled from the kiln, they need no introduction. They are complete sentences all by themselves.
